Gate City Civitan Club and the Shoemaker PTO have teamed up to place new, interactive playground equipment at Shoemaker Elementary School.
Shoemaker PTO has already done a lot of work, including removing the old equipment, adding a safe play surface, and installing a single slide/swing unit.
The PTO hopes to install the multiuse play equipment pictured below, and the Civitan Golf Classic is being held to raise funds needed to pay for the new equipment. All of the profits raised by this fundraising project will be designated to support PTA/PTO efforts in Scott County.
